I know some bike manf. or even dealerships offer a discount or credit for showing that you passed an MSF course. Does Ducati do anything like this?
I know I got a discount on my bike insurance because I took the MSF class and that 's all I know. [cheeky]

just insurance companies that i've heard of...also some give discounts if you're part of a recognized rider's group, like AMA (usually you have to provide a member number for proof).
It's also worth telling them that you are a member of a DOC (Ducati Owners Club). The old DML was and still is a recognized DOC and membership is free. Just register and presto.
I know Honda will send you a rebate check for something like $50 or more if you become a HRCA member and take the MSF course. Usually you automatically get a one year membership if you purchase a new Honda. After taking the course, send in the coupon and the class certificate number, you'll get a check a few weeks after. ;D
