I have no idea if it's actually worth that much or not, but it looks pretty sweet.

I'd never spend 45K on it, but dang that's a nice bike! [thumbsup]

It sounds pretty badass too. :)
Wow, if I see "last of the handmade before mass production" in a Ducati ad one more time...
Got to love them old classics. I think it will go for more then 45K. The last one i saw on eBay went for $85K if i remember correctly.
Hehe, check out the the wording on the manufacturing plate: "This motor cycle was manufactred by:"

How quaint ;D
Really nice bike, but with $45 G's I would rather have the 1098R. [evil]

Yes but would you have spelling mistakes on your vin plate ??? [laugh]
Damn, that is a sweet one!
Best part is that if I did buy it, it'd be not so bad to get back into Australia, with it being complied already and all :).
You can have your 1098's and your D16's, but THAT is my dream bike!
Absolutely gorgeous!
WANT! >:(

Probably increases the value, it would if it were a postal stamp.
Beautiful bike but 45k its not worth. Unless you are a serious collector and a Ducati freak doubt it will sell for that much.
i just saw that while trolling ebay. glad i checked for a thread about it, lest i get popped by the derby cop. [leo]
there's also a '72 sport (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Motorcycles___1972-DUCATI-750-sport-rare-1-of-less-than-100_W0QQitemZ220236980002QQddnZMotorcyclesQQddiZ2283QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item220236980002&) for sale. both very sexy bikes, but more scratch than i've got to spend on such things.
Cant get the link to work... Must be over.
I'd rather save $38K and buy this 860GT. It would be more fun because you don't have to worry about putting mileage on it or getting a little ding.
