I was watching it... thinking 4-500 would be reasonable.
Going price seems to be $AUD600-700

isn't that like $121.87 US? [cheeky] j/k
Nearly $800 is just absurd for used stock take offs. Now if they have been reworked w/ different internals...still sounds high though. FYI, I paid $400 for my 998 fork on feebay.
It's all about supply & demand. A good set of S4R forks are hard to come by. Ask me how I know...http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?topic=25400.0 (http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?topic=25400.0)
I purchased 2 sets of TiNi forks within the last 1.5 years.
1st = $450 8 on a 10 scale.
2nd = $650 9 on a 10 scale.

I get that, but common sense tells me that unless these s4r forks have been reworked internally w/ ohlins internals or Race tech stuff, then they are not worth $800. I would wait until another set came along or get a set of SBK forks. The conversion is very easy.

I couldn't agree more...I think $800 is outrageous to pay. I was just making the point that there
seems to be a high demand out there and short supply on the market...kinda like the $1K Cycle Cat rear sets. :P

HA! I remember that post. Yeah, the S4R forks are a direct bolt on, but I am somewhat partial to the SBK units...easier to get and usually less $$$$.
If any one's intrested:
I'm selling my TiNi S4R forks for the DMF price of $1500. :P [laugh]

Sure they are - to the right buyer anyways. Not saying they're a smart buyer [laugh]

When I was shopping for them recently, the supply had drastically dried up. Went weeks without even seeing any for sale, let alone for a reasonable price. Finally managed to bid snipe some S4 forks.

How much did you get them for?

I don't remember the exact price but it was less than $350.
