Looks like I will be meeting up with El Matador and Swamp Duc for some hill country riding. Probably going to be in Vanderpool Leakey area. Maybe Three Sisters. Who's down for some of the best riding Texas has to offer?
Ohhhhh....I am pretty sure I am available that day. Keep me informed.

I can definitely make the 6th and not the 7th. I will have to look into the hydration pack.

Chris I was planning on mid day Monday. El Matador it really doesn't matter where we meet up, will PM you later tonight.
Jon
Ok, i'll just keep checking back here. I can go Monday, but sounds like not a breakfast run? I'm getting the impression it's a midday run and if so, a donde?
Chris, its gonna be a midday ride. The Houston group won't be getting in till afternoon sometime. It will be hot. I wear an Ogio water pack, about $50 from Cyclegear. It's insulated just fill it with ice water and your good to go. Hope you can make it. [thumbsup]
Jon
Hmmmmm......thinking of doing this. Gonna be in town with the folks that weekend. I may just load the bike and take with.

Yes, that is all
Not gonna make it peeps. I need to get back into Houston Monday late afternoon, so I'll probably be heading out from SA around 3-4pm which is not long after the group arrives from H-Town.
The Houston group should be arriving at koyote ranch at about 1:00 or so. I was thinking about meeting at 12:00 and then heading to the ranch to meet up with them.
Is that Noon on Sunday they will be arriving at Koyote? If so maybe I can meet up for a bit on Sunday

You too huh. Yeah I know him well.
Apparently group rides work as excellent substitutes for rain dances. We obviously need to organize more [moto]

We only got rain for five minutes or so. Unfortunatly there were several spots we rode through that had rain at some point and were still wet. Under some of the cloud cover the roads could also appear wet but be dry. It was a great ride. About 350 miles for Wasabi and I. Next time buddy.
Had a great time [thumbsup] Here are some pictures.

wow, good to see you're ok for the most part lucrece, I would take adam's advice and keep an eye on yourself though, better that you be diligent now and don't do anything to aggravate any lingering issues.
I'd like to see a bit more of the damage to the bike, but from the laundry list, it sounds like the bike's pretty bad off. It may not be too terribly efficient to try to resurrect it, but I understand why you want to.
I'd start tearing her down completely, especially considering the wiring harness is torn apart. Get it down to all the constituent parts and then take a good inventory of what needs to be repaired or replaced, then start back up again.
Feel free to give me a call if you guys need some help
Desmolu,
So sorry to hear about the accident. The good news is that you are okay and Jesus got you covered with his 696.
Get well, so you can go riding again.

Thanks for the offer, man! Pics of the damage posted to the GMF thread, although not the best pics.
She's going to Metric for the insurance co's requirement. Hoping to buy her back and resurrect as a track bike. You are all kinds of welcome to participate in the fun of the build! Some Hiero expertise will be needed, I am sure (fondue could be involved too ;))
During all these Hill Country runs, do any of you take the time to stop by the Motorcycle Museum in Vanderpool?

There are some really cool old bikes, Vincents, Enfields, BSA's AJS's and even a few old Ducs including a nice single cylinder bevel drive.
