Someone posted a link on where to purchase Brembo clamp adapters for the reservoirs when replacing the 696 stock mirrors. I am now having no luck finding that post. Anyone remember or can point me in the right direction?

Sorry. I cant answer your question. Hey... found it :) >> http://shop.bevelheaven.com/detail.aspx?ID=284 (http://shop.bevelheaven.com/detail.aspx?ID=284) Dont thank me, thank
1313.
But let me ask you this: Why bother? When you can just flip the original reservoir clamps upside down for much the same result.
Thanks for the heads up, I am still waiting for my barends and did not even look at that. My wife thanks you for saving me money.

I seem to remember a cable getting in the way. And it didn't match up.
(there must be a reason the one without the mirror mount says UP on it so big, right?)

that is just for the dumbasses who don't realize the hole is for hte mirror mount until it's too late
yea, but the ones without the mirror mount also have a nice big UP & an arrow. ;D

they do? ? wow.. i have to guess it's the designer being a dumbass then.
on the other hand, i wonder if there is some offset in the bore?
You can see how the top is tapered and at an angle:

I suppose it's so you can use more than one size bar (check out the gap at the bottom when installed)
Look guys, if you want the bestest neatest result, go buy these Brembo-type no-mirror-hole-adaptors. I think I'm pretty fussy and I'm quite happy with the original items fitted upside down. There is a very slight off-set difference top-to-bottom but regardless of this I find it fits, works and looks just fine.
As always, the choice is yours :).
