My bike is from BCM and i plan to have the large stuff done there, but can anyone recommend some good shops (or link me to a thread) in the Boston area that could help with smaller stuff, etc.
Trouble shooting some electrical stuff and not having much luck - may need some professional help.
thanks.
Tim
Hey Tim,
It's hard to beat BCM. I've dealt with the guys up at Eastern Cycle in Beverly before and had top notch service, but they're a bit far away as well.
I've heard that there is one Ducati mechanic at Riverside in Somerville that is well versed in all things Ducati - I believe his name is Al? He's an older gentleman. I haven't had first hand experience with him, though, so I can't vouch for sure.
Good luck and make sure to post up anything you find out. :)

Al is no longer at Riverside.
He's now at Great Bay.
He does know his stuff.
Ah - good to know! Unfortunately that doesn't help our friend above too much, as Great Bay is in NH. :)
Is there no excellent Ducati mechanic in the not-too-far from Boston area? Even Eastern Cycle is a trek for folks that aren't north of the city.
Eastern Cycle is worth the trip.
Q
I definitely agree. Eastern is a great shop. Any time I need to take my bikes anywhere I go to them. Definitely worth the trip.
