That's funny, I was waiting to go to pre-school, just one more year to go ;D
In 1983 I was in year 2 of my 4 with the US Air Force. I was stationed in northern Maine at Loring AFB then off to Spangdahlem AB in Germany. Had my first motorcycle then, a Yamaha Seca 750.
I would've just turned 3! :P
Oh dear Lord, I was choosing colleges... :P
Most of the cars I have owned were older than Drunken Monkey.

Hey kids, I'm a refugee, as most of us are it seems.
Nate, Thanks so much for aiding and abetting the founding of this site!
Monday night was fun for what it was, can't wait to see you at future get togethers!
I have Nashua and possibly Concord nailed down, and just need to figure out dates for get togethers in the NE area.
Will be looking forward to enjoying this site just as much as I enjoyed the DML when it was still a decent site. be::

hi john, do you know that the picture you have is actually the bulgarian national flag. it has the same colours :)
New to the Ducati Family and Site. Pick up my first Duc tomorrow. Just learning the web site. Any site help would be great. I've been riding sense 1969 as a teenager. Hello
83, [bang] you don't want to know how old I am. I'll scare myself and just say I was at the 1st Woodstock! Yikes.
In 1983 was enjoying my 3 year old son / my 1 year old son, my sixth year of marriage. At that time I rode a 79 Yamaha SR 500. Worked at a cardboard box plant. Still got em all, but the SR. Life then,.. and now is great, much better than the alternative. [bow_down]
Not sure if this how the system works but f@#k it will do it live! I'm located in Silver City, New Mexico. Not a native but this is where I'm calling home for now. I own a 1995 900ss. I have been riding for over 20 years but this is my first Ducati. I have owned just about every make including a Royal Enfield and sorry to say a Harley. As for Ducati...I get it now and I'm sure I will never own another bike that isn't made by Ducati. As old as my duck is it still turns heads and still out performs anything I have ever owned. I have had faster bikes but they didn't have soul and they didn't handle as well. I'm looking forward to talking with everyone and getting more good advise from you folks. Thanks
900SS, Great to see ya on the sight. What a great Duc. And Silver City NM. Bet you have some wonderful rides. Welcome Partner!!! [clap]
Most people start their own threads to introduce themselves.
That being said, welcome you two!
900ss rider, there's a local NM club here: http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?board=49.0 (http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?board=49.0)
Been around a long time, originally on the old site, and thought I'd swing over here and see what's shakin. Howdy 900ss, I've got a 97 900ss/sp. I feel your joy. It's kind of neat being an owner of the last of the square headlights. Had the bike out for a Saturday morning ride, (long over due), and had a great time. They are not the fastest or nimblest of the bikes, but they ride so well.
Still have the 2000 M900 so the need to see what's going on in the Monster world lives on. Peace to all and enjoy the ride!
