I remember making a comment a while a go in relation to go karts. Well, i seem to finally be getting everything on track and am still interested in having a dig. To those that are involved in it, can you please stand up. [coffee]
I'm in, you name the time and the place.
Eastern Creek Karts have a mini Grand Prix option for ~$150 (http://www.easterncreekkarts.com.au/grand-prix.php). Two extra heats for an extra $40 :)
Bags fat bastard high horsepower Kart! [moto]
i like to be in on that too, but it depends on when
I'm in for a spin round the track in a cart........ [moto]
Picton carts is another option.... [roll]
Hmm, i was talking more about the rotax ones. As in properly getting into it, but in saying that i'd be up for the eastern creek ones for a casual day(Have done them a couple of times before and they're mighty fun)

Every couple of months somebody says they are going to organise a day out, but then nothing comes of it.
So when you mentioned karts everybody got all excited again.
Hugh, you probably want to talk to Sydmonster.
Yeah, Syd was on the list. Anyone else?

Well Vince once owned a professional go-karting team (may be a slight exaggeration) ... I think Mick was looking into it for good, clean family fun ... and Super was organising the karting day.
Problems being Vince is AWOL/MIA ... Mick doesn't have a computer ... and Super is trading in for an old Jap project bike and has lost the love.
Yeah I've pitched it a few times getting a Kart day together but most people find it hard to give me
a day/date that will work.
If I just post one up and say this is when I'll organize it how many say they'll be up for it.
Betty
Jukie?
Matty
Vince?
Craigo
Big T
White Lion
Super (if he still loves us)
Goldfish (pending Dory's arrival)
Who else will be up for it.
i used to race carts also and know renzo(owner) at picton track.i do not know what sought of carts they have from a group/
corporate way but i can enquire.its been years since ive been there but if they have say the same carts then i think picton is the better.
If we have 12-20 people and go to EC they have the fastest hire Karts in Sydney. 13-15HP
I think Picton's are the usual 9HP that most people use. It is a better track but EC have two to choose from.
There top track is the better of the two, it has a fast downhill section that it is real fun.
I'm up for a blast on a kart!
Kembla karts have twin 4 stroke karts which do get along quite well!
Picton have the single engine karts which are a little slow going up the hill straight.
Sounds like Eastern Creek is the go! [thumbsup]
Whats the go about licences??
Rob
I might give it a go as long as it's not too exy
Pretty sure you don't need a licence. Prices are from 140-190, 140 being a 2 heat weekday session, 190 being a 4 heat weekend session ;)

I presume you be talking to me, and I accept your challenge with large bells on. We'll need to handicap your steed with the appropriate power to weight to make it a fair battle
otherwise I'll have to resort to other less gentlemen-like tactics !And I think your prediction is spot on. Have these things enough ponies to light 'em up?

There was no tactics involved, dirty or otherwise.
I think we can agree to disagree as to who was in the wrong regarding the coming together at the snow. My recollection was that I was downhill from you [cheeky]
I can agree that you came off worse for wear, but then again, that's no surprise - after all, I am a man mountain and you are soft :)
hhmmm vince is very soft
Count me in if for the 15th, otherwise I'm out for the following 2 to 3 weekends.
Hey guys,
I can recommend Picton over EC, better planned, better chassis and overall faster Karts at Picton, but track is better at EC.
WhiteLion,
I'm selling my kart* silly cheap price, PM me if you want to talk bud. - Chris
Yes, the crazy fast Rotax.

Easy to get to and not as crowded.
Pigmy knows the owner. Maybe we can get a better group deal?
Cool I don't mind Picton I have driven both places.
Don't know if there Karts are faster EC has 13hp Karts.
I think Pictons are 9hp.
I've only been to EC karts. Have to say, would prefer to keep the HP up at 13. Not sure if 9hp can get sideways....... ???
Still count me in for a race.
Syd, PM sent
Could always go to Kembla Grange Karts?
Their karts have two engines!
If your interested in traveling this far I can make some enquiries.
Rob
You can get sideways with 6hp.
So do we have a day/date.
Saturday in 2 weeks, that is 22nd yes.
