Hi all, I've reacently moved to the North Carolina coast. I was wondering if there was anyone else having the plastic tank problems and if there was a specific dealership that was better about getting the tank replaced than others.
I have an 07 S2R1000 and the tank is starting to grow. When I bought the bike it was rubbing on the ignition, now the frame pad doesn't sit right, and I just had to adjust the handlebars so that they don't hit the tank anymore.
Thanks for the help.
You know, I'm not sure but seeing your post prompted me to go check my bike and I think the tank really has swelled a bit.
OK, so of the two shops listed in the Raleigh area, which is better? Any thoughts?
I think this stuff reduces swelling.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say neither will be great on something like this, but Barnett's is better.

Thanks, I really appreciate that. Trying to figure out what to do about the whole thing. What does everyone do for a dealer if neither are very good?

I get that, but some things still need a dealership and that big fancy computer thing they have.
I have e-mailed the folks who did a whole bunch of work on my bike back in Virginia. It will be interesting to see how this turn out.
