Hey inspecting my rear after the track day yesterday and found a couple of small "patches" of rubber that appears to have lifted as shown below.
New Pilot power with 200km on it to scrub it in before track day....
Any cause for concern??????

That wouldn't be something like Cold Tearing would it?
sorry never done a track day, never been to a track, bit hard when the nearest one is 2000k's away. [bang]
Haven't seen a PP do that before, have seen plenty of rubber "balling" on the edge of the tread blocks.
Can you push your finger into the rubber, as in feel that it has lifted at all?
All the rubber is solid in and around the patches.....
The tyre feels fine and rode fine..... ???
If it feels fine guess we can just help you monitor it Saturday.
no big t the tyre is fine those spots are caused by pinching , causes not enough pressure and not warm enough cheers bazz

I'm with CairnsDuc on this one. [thumbsup]
With our Club system of 5 lap sprints (And racing in winter?? [roll]. Something visitors from O/S have questioned. ??? ) it isnt unusual to see this sort of thing, when the tyre is trying to maintain traction while getting the "berries" from the lunatic riding the bike when dead cold. ;D
Cold track surface also contributes to the issue as well. [moto]

poor little things, they were virgins :'(
OK, that kind of abuse means you have to forfeit your bike to a caring soul......... like me.
So hand it over.
Pick ups possible! ;D
I thought the cool thing about track days was you could warm up the tyres and then smash....what happened Big T...forget to do point a before proceeding to point b (ala 'the smashing').
It's called "testosterone" Spider........
Even at the this ripe old age of fifty something I still have it...... [evil]
And Monsterdorf as I have been a bad bad boy, the S4RT is forfeited to you for free for a small "dealer delivery" fee of $30Gs....
And Dock you know I have thing with virgins...... 8)
PS: It was worth every inch of rubber lost...... Almost better than sex (........ Naaaaa)....

The last thing you want is to lose rubber during sex.....
hhhhmmm sex
Man not fair, how the hell can an old bloke like me read the "fine print"; and then all that talk about sex...........
Reminds me of an old Systems Engineering rule:
'In the end when all is said and done, a lot is said but very little done.'
Now that's sex talk to a T :)
Speaking from a married mans perspective..............."Sex"?? Wassat???? ???
ooohhh poor dragon well at least you have me to talk dirty to you
