Damn, and im just about to go to the city for a job interview. Maybe i should jsut take the train. :/
It's annoying to get stopped but I'm legal so I don't throw a fit.
I find it more annoying to get stopped when I'm legal because they are just picking me out and stealing my time for their bullshit.

Ive been stopped twice, but nothing more than a paper check. i hear they will comb through shit. I am 100% legal as well, except for no exahust. but thats just a fix it ticket right?
Thanks for the tip. At least it isn't highway patrol running that checkpoint.
Keep a look out for police on the Sheridan Expressway heading south where it merges with the Bruckner. One or two Highway cars, sometimes unmarked. They are pulling motorcycles and speeders.

Definitely been stuck in traffic due to cops pulling (and towing) bikes and the resulting lolly gaggers. I've even seen someone pulled over further down the Bruckner in the left lane with a tow truck. Traffic was backed up for miles.
Southbound on the Major Deegan before the GWB turn off seems popular too.
Northbound on the Harlem River Drive at 155th seems popular as well. A co-worker driving his car in traffic tried warning a guy lanesplitting that they were ahead but the guy either didn't notice or thought he was just a crazy cager pregnant doging about him lanesplitting. A cop walked out in traffic when he saw him but the guy ducked, weaved and took off.
