is there anyone in dallas u prefer to buy parts from? im in tyler so no local parts source. i was thinking of just ordering from duc seattle or someone on the board but not sure how long to ship. anyway who do you guys buy from in dallas for replacement parts. i need to order some exhaust gaskets and ams is closed today [bang]
They are Open tomorrow and i dont think is any other place that carries so many parts as AMS...
+1 for ducati seattle. I ordered a bunch of maintenance parts from them for a good price and with quick delivery. Ask for a DMF member discount.

Thanks everyone ! We are glad to be welcomed in and happy to help in any way. We have lots going on these days so if you are in the neighborhood please stop in and see for yourself ! We have a top notch new Dyno Center now as well, plus two fantastic Dyno operators !!
We will be happy to extend a parts discount to paid DMF members as we did on the DML once it is all sorted out and a membership structure is in place. In the meantime we will offer a 5% discount to anyone with over 750 posts and a standard 10% for anyone with over 1500 posts [cheeky] Discounts can not be offered at times on some DP items and not on Motorcycles (sorry).
lol guess i should become a thread whore ;D
-1 for ducati seattle.
Well i dont see the point to order online small things that you can get from a local dealership (being a Yamaha, Ducati , kawasaki etc)
And if you are in Tyler AMS can ship it ground UPS to you and be there the next day... plus you build a relatioship with a local store... That's what i do with my bike i go talk to the dealers they get to know me and usally if they know you you get a discount [drink]
I'll have to +1 Giannis for getting to know a local dealer that you may have to take your bike to eventually.
Sometimes you can get a better price online through the board discounts which is great, but building a good relationship with your local dealer goes a long way too.
BTW that post from Dave from DucSeattle you quoted is over a year old. I'm sure he'll do a discount if you just PM him about it
Of course YMMV
you can also try Salt Lake City Motorsports in, where else, Salt Lake. Them or AMS is where I shop
I keep thinking Wal-Mart will have their Ducati Shop open soon. [coffee]
