Hi Guys,
I'm looking for a convenient headset for use with my 2-way radio. At the moment I'm using one of those stick-in-yer-helmet type mic and speaker, but they keep coming loose, and I don't like the sound quality (too much noise). On the web I found this set:

Anyone have any experience with these or something similar? They pick up vibration of the ear bone and combine mic and speaker in one unit (thus eliminating cable problems). Could this be a good solution? Another option I'm considering is a throat mic combined with an in-ear speaker, but this is a bit more expensive and elaborate. I kinda like the clean and easy all-in-one solution :)
Cheers!
Interesting, haven't seen that before. So you want to stay with earbuds and don't want speakers? I've heard good things about this one if you don't mind speakers.

i've been considering this throat mic and getting a cheaper GMRS radio instead of my chatterbox

That's exactly the throat mic I was considering! If the earbone thingy works, that would be a bit cheaper though, and less wiring :-) Can't wait to hear some first hand experiences (also with the throat mics!)
Thanks Erkishhorde, I hadn't seen that thread! Very usefull info!
