Title: Hi From Oregon!
Post by: barkertodd on August 12, 2009, 10:14:40 PM
Hi All,

Name's Todd, Ive been lurking here a while as I did research before buying my Monster. I'm based in the Willamette Valley of Oregon where my commute is anywhere from 100 to 160 miles a day (round trip) depending on the route I want to ride.

I started riding last year, completed Team Oregon BRT training, bought a Suzuki GZ 250 and put several hundred miles on it before giving it to my girlfriend to learn on. I jumped up from there to a Ninja 650R last January and put on almost 6000 miles in the past seven months of riding. Yesterday I bit the bullet and traded my 650 in for a Monster 1100 and couldn't be happier!

Of course, as a new owner, I have a bazillion questions, but I will be good, and search the forums before asking  [laugh]
Heres a couple pics from yesterday, Later!!

The "Red Room" at Motocorsa, this is where you take delivery of the bike before they roll it out of the showroom
