I'm damn rusty lol but I will be picking up a m696 when in Tx.. mainly as a daily.. early 20s I was also a bike messenger in the city so u can get an idea how nuts I am.. currently I'm into drag racing my almost 600HP neon srt4..  always loved ducatis and can't wait to own one.. so ill be here lurking around learning as much I can b4 then..  any ?s

Welcome cokey, nice to have you here. [thumbsup]

Good luck with the move and the bike shopping.  Looking forward to your updates. :)

I believe they are all air-cooled except for the S4, S4R, and S4RS, but I'm sure someone will be along to correct me if I'm wrong. ;)

Ah ok.  So none of the 2v's are liquid cooled I'm guessing..  has anyone add a system to liquid cool a 2v if so?  or is it not possible or coast effective to do so?    Seems like a difficult job..

I think it is possible, check in the Accessories & Mods (http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?board=5.0) section, but I doubt it is easy or cost-effective.

There's many members here running air-cooled bikes in hot climates, we don't usually hear too many issues about over-heating.
