Hello from New Orleans!
Bought a brandy-new Monster 1100 (red) last week, and a guy I met at the dealer recommended this group. I've done some poking around, and have decided to stay. Y'all look like a fun bunch, and I'm glad to be a member.
I've been riding for about 15 years on and off, and it was, oddly enough, the Ducati Monster that got me started in motorcycling. I first saw a photo in '94, and thought, "It will be mine. Oh, yes. It will be mine."
Only took me 15 years!

We have a couple members from the NoLa area here, swampduc is the most active here so hope you get a chance to say hi.
Welcome, Phri. I'm betting you ran into Cory at the dealer. You can find me there most Saturdays ;D . I live in Houma, but I spend most of my weekends in NOLA and will hopefully get a place up there this winter.
We have a local board, but it's really not active at all - maybe we can change that. Hope to ride with ya sometime - there's at least 1 or 2 good roads down this way if you want to come down. pm me if you need contact info.
