I'm really liking this helmet, anyone own a vector or this particular helmet?

Yeah, I've got it. Comfy and fairly quiet. Good build quality. Venting is adequate, but not as good as some other models, obviously. It feels like it's on the heavy side. My AGV GP Tech is much lighter and better vented, so that's what I ride with regularly.

I"m wearing an icon right now, so i think the weight of this should still be less then what i'm used to.
Anyone think its an odd combination to ride a ducati and have a union jack on your helmet? (i'm over thinking this aren't I?)

+1

I picked up my old Quantum/f to wear the other day and it just feels more comfortable and definately vents better than my Vector.

According to webbikeworld, the XL Vector is about 3 1/2 lbs. That's pretty light, but it felt heavier than that. Maybe that's due to aerodynamics, but the Vector really didn't buffet much.

+1 DD, the Quantum is definitely nicer. IMO the AGV GP Tech is better than both, but it is a little more expensive  :-\

I have one as well...love it. The Vector is just what they used to call the Astral X. Feels light to me, good aerodynamics, and adequate venting (for Seattle anyway). Plus...it looks bad ass...the Union Jack is OK because it's a race replica helmet.  ;D

I briefly had an AGV (don't know the model...it was red with 2 white stripes). It was lighter and looked awesome, but it just didn't fit my head. I returned it and got the Vector. Fits my head like it was custom made.  [thumbsup]

Hmmmm...gives me an idea for my mellow-yellow RF1000...

Yellow for the black, of course, then red (reflective) for the white "horns" and checks.  Nice and gaudy.  Like my underwear.
