Title: Vintage Honda wrench?
Post by: Magnus on September 08, 2009, 04:56:29 AM
A friend of mine just picked up two 1975 Honda CB550's...   neither has been even started up for about 15 years.  He's looking to get them road worthy rather than a complete restore.

Any recommendations for a good North Jersey shop that can handle this sort of work?  Thanks.

Sounds like a great DIY project.  Seriously, I don't know many shops that will handle vintage bikes like that.  However, you can try Manx Cycle (or some such name) on rt. 46 in Dover, NJ. (the Dover in the northern part of the state).  Manx does some really vintage bike work.

This dude couldn't fix his toaster let alone a vintage bike like this, but I'll pass the info along.  Thanks!

I was going to mention the same shop. No FHE but a coworker had some work done on his honda there I think. Worth checking out.
