What made you choose both an S4RS and a 696?
why, his and hers, of course..... ;)
Congrats! Can't wait to see all the mods when you're done. Why the long wait?
Congratulations and I like your choice of names. My previous bike (also a Ducati) was named Monica.

Wow! 14 years of waiting?that's way too long...did you have a bike before this?Nice ride BTW. [thumbsup]
That's awesome. I got dry clutch envy ;D
yeah, i grew up riding in the dirt, lots of cr's and xr's over the years....
about 9 years ago when i finally settled in one place and bought my house,
i regained the time and space for hobbies
and acquired a 1969 triumph bonneville.
that was followed by a '71 triumph trophy flattracker, all customized/ restored myself,
a 1967 BSA victor 441 shooting star
a '70s vintage AAE hardail frame w a 1967 bonneville motor,
and a 2006 triumph speed triple, bought 12/05....
the old bikes were cheap to get into and cheap to restore ove a year or two timeframe...
when i finally made the money for the new bikes,
the list was short; speed triple, monster, tuono, mv agusta.....
the speed triple just sort of fell in my lap, so there you have it...
and now, after lusting for the monster since the day it was born,
ive joined the family. ;D
ps i still have all the Brits except the bsa which i sold a couple months ago...
That's quite a list, glad you're able to hang on to them [thumbsup]
Congrats. :) Pics of the other bikes please ;D
very well....... ;)

Drool.........Very nice job on the bikes [thumbsup]
thank you sir, spent about a year and a half on the black one (71 tr6c)
and 2 years off and on riding/ restoring the red one (69 t120r)
tank's actually off the red bike now down to bare metal for pinhole repair and restoration....
i think im set w the antiques, gonna be all modern bikes from here on out....
;)
Congratulations, beautiful bike!
thats fricken sweet dude... I am still stuck with an old school S4. She is my sweartheart though (but i am still jelous).
Heath
Droooooool [thumbsup]
230 miles now....
oooooooooooooooooooooooooo ohlins.....!!!!!!
man this thing is smooth....!
fueling sucks below 3000 rpms and is marginal at 4000
mirrors are useless at cruising speeds, was going to replace them anyway....
lotta heat kicking off the pipes, theyll be carbon soon anyway, case closed...
LOTS of torque, plenty of power, motor is mega-smooth....
yeah, im happy.
pazzos and clear alternatives on order
arrows or termis on the list next, still undecided....
Those bonneville's are nice,i would love to own one for a second bike.Or a hypermotard ;D
