It may be worthy of interest to note here, the first local BMW and Ducati dealership I was aware of, Dallas Motorcycle Sales, was on the corner of Main and Crowdus, where the Deep End is now. George Brown owned it. I worked there in '73, and got to help uncrate the first 750 GT and 750 Sport any of us had ever seen:

texas summers are just too damn hot. this year was no exception. i have a feeling bike nights are gonna pick up big time over the next few months.

We have angered the Motorcycle Gods. The 95 degree heat broke only to be replaced by thunderstorms. Damnit. I wimped out and drove my car to the gathering. GeorgeInDallas is the man. Lightening, wind shear, flash flood, no problem. The ST3 made the ride.
I'll bet he was visible with his Tron gear.
Weather permitting, I'm at Urbino's next Thursday (9/17) ;D
