why, oh why would someone want to have a rossi "replica" r1?
would it not make a LOT more sense to have a spies replica r1, as:
- ben will most likely win the wsb championship in his rookie year
- the sterilgarda livery looks molto cooler than this rossi replica
- and gee, actually tying a sports figure to the appropriate product?

aren't u a marketer? neat!
u know rossi will always sell more product than spies.
They should do a Spies edition for the US
I have always had a hard time getting excited about *any* replica sporting reflectors... [laugh]
And he may be fast, but Spies' personality is about as exciting as a bowl of oatmeal.

That's perfect, as his bike is sponsored by Sterilgarda, which if you didn't know is a company that sells milk.

that kitten thread with him was funny as hell though.
I'm sorry I don't see the difference between the top bike and the bottom bike. Appear to both be bikes covered in stickers. What am I missing, other then the significance of who rides them?

I realize that they come off...the weird thing is that they're on there at all. It's just weird... [cheeky]
I think they can be removed with a hairdryer.

Which, ironically, is also true of johnc ;D
My take on replicas is that for people who like that sort of thing, they have a lot of the sort of thing that those people like.

Yum, oatmeal. ;D
I'd like to know how much oatmeal they had to give Rossi to stand next to the most fuggly thing I've seen this decade.
He won't even look at it out of fear.

Have you seen a Multistrada before?!? Or any Buell for that matter? (f'n Buells >:()
The same reason someone would pay$700 for a helmet with Rossi's face on it. There are a lot of sheeple out there and Yamaha is capitalizing, more power to them
