Title: new Monster owner in northern California...
Post by: victor441 on September 13, 2009, 04:28:24 PM
bought a 2003 M800 dark four days ago and have been riding the wheels off since....got lucky and made a great find, it only had 1700 miles, is 100% stock (what I wanted) and complete,  looks about as new as a six YO bike can, and I picked it up about half what is cost new.  Have been riding since the mid '70's but took the last eight years or so off.  Am completely happy with the bike, it has all the personality of my two favorite previous bikes ( a Norton Commando and a BMW R90S) but waaay higher performance  [thumbsup]

Welcome! Nice bike. There's a bay area group I believe under local club boards to the left. You can hook up with some of them and continue taking the wheels off.

Welcome Victor, congrats, very nice bike. [thumbsup]

I see you already found the MOB and made a dangerous road report. [clap]

Looking forward to meeting you at a future local event. :)

Welcome to Ducati Madness !

What an beautiful bike you have!! Congrats, on your Ducati..

My first Ducati was the 2006 S2r 800 Dark as plain as they come meaning bone stock. I had the bike for about a year and a half than I traded in for an 07 Ducati S4Rs red with the white stripe in the middle of the bike.

The S4rs zips along pretty nicely as well.

Best of luck ! Please ride safe !
