I think the risk is that I might actually move in to a place like this and that it would be difficult to get me out. Motopia had to change to a membership model just to get me to go home.
I can see a diversion is needed...an intervention. You just need to partake in some track time with us my friend. It'll take your mind off of espresso for a day. Not that there's anything wrong with that. [thumbsup] ;D
Since the only Ducati Cafe is in Rome, its hard to imagine Dallas will see one anytime soon. Besides. we have that Euro bike Cafe..can't remember its name.

Fixed it.

Someone click the "Become a Caffe" link on the page and open one up for us. [thumbsup] Jeff should just remodel the Dallas location into this.

Nah... there are enough poseur hangouts in Dallas, as it is. Why should we crap on the hooligan image that we've worked so hard to maintain by inviting the inevitable derision upon ourselves by other self-respecting scooter trash that this would entail. Let 'em go to France with this bu!!sh*t! [evil]
I'd be like Patrick and never leave the joint. Give me WIFI, coffee and beer and I'm there. Image? Who cares?
Just let me sit there watching DD16RR, 1198/1098R dyno runs and I wouldn't leave either
I will be in Rome on the 30th, going to a wedding in Florence, I probably will not get time but if I do I will pop in and take a few pics.

Yeah, but derision is hard to take, even if if it is subtle derision :(
"Sans image, ne rien du tout" - Some existentialist should have said that.
We needs to have one in Uptown/West Market....or Deep Ellum?
nope, Addison
More likely Southlake, but only because the Park Cities have noise ordinances.
and higher taxes to boot.

How bout bringing back some of those awesome Factory T-shirts from our shrine? XXL please...oh, and don't ask Steve about hooking up to do the exchange either, that won't fly. Have a fun trip Andy. [thumbsup]

What?, no consideration for FW
Sundance Square? That place beats all those non-annexed bedroom communities hands down!

True, perhaps. Still, if they were to base placement on market research, they'd probably put it in Southlake. Or Frisco. Allen. Someplace fairly new and full of acquisitive types.

might be a little to "posh" for Sundance Square plus the rent there I'm sure is outrageous.....beating those communities is a matter of perspective. I chose to live in Frisco because of TAXES in which Tarrant and Dallas county are high

I wasn't basing placement on a fashionable address where people want to be seen but more on foot traffic that drives people inside your establishment than anything else. Believe me, there is more than enough monitary availability to support "posh" in SS. Actually anywhere in DFW is a money-making area. I still don't know why Margaritaville hasn't come to town. Their management said "Dallas is just not a "destination" city we plan to develope in". San Antonio then!
San Antonio has been kicking everyone's ass in Texas lately.
San Antonio is a FUN town, with probably the most sense and agreement over it's own culture. Love it.
That being said, the Dallas Art scene is really starting to hop... I need to get out more!
it's all that money being funneled to the bridge to nowhere that's been draining big D.
I know! I LOVE that bridge... Love the architect, and can't wait to see it completed! Thought that I was the only one! That plus the arts district makes Dallas livable. Very exciting... When the Nasher opened it felt like Christmas. Can't wait to see Verdi's Otello in the new opera house... Hmm, need to buy tickets tomorrow...
Oh and stfu, okie, I pay taxes in big D, while you just drive on my roads [thumbsup]
roads? you mean construction zones right?
and I did pay taxes in big D, NO MORE! I remember a hefty gas tax though....maybe I'm losing it and should move back to D next to you. we'd be great neighboors. :-X
hah! kid all you want, man, we'd be great neighbors... [thumbsup]
I know. your kids are just at the right age where they can mow lawns, wash cars and on and on and on. [laugh]
hah! you must not have met my kids... I would not allow them near anything you value...
well then I'll move next to McKraut, I know he mows. :'(

i would if i had a lawn... if you wanted to move next to me, there's a cozy little place next to me called "casa bonita"; i bet they have an open unit...
casa bonita you say? :o
