This is what alot of us in Australia woke up to this morning.

[cheeky]
Seen that a few times during dust storms here in Phoenix.
Funny how the news article is posting twits (yes, I know they're called tweets, I prefer to call them twits [cheeky]) to give the story more weight.

Yeah, I know. [roll]
The thing is that where we are located is not in the middle of a desert like Phoenix, but this dust has travelled hundreds of kilometres to get to the coast. This probably happens once in ten years.

Oh, not saying it's not something special. I just thought the twits were unnecessary and detract from the article. We kind of get the same thing here in SoCal with all the ash from the fires recently. :-\
If i woke up to that i would go bacl inside lock the door grab the shotgun the nine and the AR, prepair for zombies and maybe call in sick, that totally looks like end of the world shit.
Calling in sick would be good. Probably not such a good idea to ride in that stuff. Not counting poor visibility it can't be good to break in too much dirt like that. I know people were getting sick from riding with all the ash in the air after the Santa Barbara fires last year.

Colbert called them (tweets) twats on good morning America. Seems about right for most cases.
Nice lazy oaf who wouldn't bother to get up to deal with their smoke alarm.
