Ducati's rock! ;D
Very true and welcome. Is there anymore info, do you ride a bike, if so, make/ model and pics are great please.
Also, where in SoCal are you located? There's a bunch of us which can be found in the Local Club boards to the left.
I'm still a beginner and I just got (don't laugh) a scooter. I'm a pretty small gal, 5'1, less than 100lbs, so I've got a ways to go. I'm determined to ride a sport bike, though, and am extremely performance oriented. :)

I must admit, my first bike was a Honda Reflex. ;D
Learn the Rules of the Road. You'll have plenty of time to upgrade to a Duc in the future.
Where in SoCal are you from? If you need a riding partners to learn, we can be of assistance...
Pending where I liv ed, I'd ride a scooter. There's also a women's forum in the local club boards, there's a few vertically challenged ladies on there that can share pointers.
Welcome Ms_Kady! :)
First of all, here are the Women's Forum (http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?board=25.0) and the SoCal Monsters (http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?board=21.0) boards.
A scooter sounds like a great beginning choice. [thumbsup] Feel free to show off pictures of it if you have any. ;)
Have you taken an MSF course yet?
Once you're ready, a Monster is a good choice for us vertically challenged folk. 8)
Here's a Short Rider FAQ (http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?topic=1853.0) that I started, you might find it interesting.
Have fun and keep us updated!
