So looking at a lever upgrade : Pazzo Adjustable Racing levers
First off is $250 delivered a good price or am I getting done from behind?
How easy is it to DIY ?
What does the cable connected to the clutch do/can the Pazzo connect to said cable and
if not what am I missing out on without it?
OR
Should I save my money and work on my retirement plan of being an amateur bio-chemist turning Coopers fine Ale
into urine.
Crickey Im hopeless one close look at Jukie's fine award winning Yellow Monster and I have changed bars and madly hunting shiny gold things late at night on internet sites to match.
Now my missus is thinking Ive got an internet mole on some cyber dating site.
Fark'n hopeless
bloody Ducati's
should of stuck with surfing and mountain bikes.
can i be your mole Dez, they are easy to put on no probs, let me just find an invoice for you
where are you getting them from PJ's
Hey Dez,
$250 is pretty good, is that US$ including shipping?
Fitting is simple but your clutch is hydraulic so no cable.
Pazzo's have the little switch thingy built-in to operate your neutral switch, the CRG's need a little item bought from
monster parts to make it operate.
Sorry but that's what Monster's/Duc's are all about [evil] bling.

Hi Matty ,
from a suppler in FNQ with limited supply , will devulge details after I purchase incase he is swamped by DMF bling hunters
sooooo sounds like it is a good deal and if its easy to fit looks like my liver [drink] may get a break/brake [laugh]
And Jukie [evil] Im flattered [laugh]
Oh forgot to ask youall opinion on
short length
or
normal ?
pro/cons
thats the levers Im talking about Jukie
i have the long one gives me more finger levage as i have short fingers. the more lever the more chance of me grabbing it.
often wondered if it would be:
dry clutch = long, for the extra leverage
wet clutch = short, ease of pull
Pazzos rock, you will not look back. You can get a pair landed for ~205Au on Ebay (http://shop.ebay.com.au/i.html?_nkw=pazzo+ducati+620&_sacat=0&_trksid=p3286.m270.l1313&_dmpt=AU_Motorcycle_Parts_Accessories&_odkw=pazzo+ducati&_osacat=0), which is where I got 'em for the s2r and the 696.
Yeah Pazzo's are good, I have long's on the current bike and had them on the 620 also.
But I have some other special one's coming. ;D ;D
Dez, I have small hands too, and find the longs are the go. Mine is a wet clutch.
I have the CRG's with the extra thingo to operate the clutch switch.
Dez ... been there, done that.
The place we bought our levers is now slightly more expensive than PJs (I think the Pazzos are pretty new to PJ) ... and the current exchange rate puts it close in cost to Craig's link but would exclude delivery. S'pose you are all over the pricing now.
As for the long vs. short ... been there, done that too ... I haven't re-read the thread but I am sure you will find differing opinions:

I think it really depends on the way you ride and your brake setup.
Anyone running the shorty's that could post a pic up, or have an image on there pc of them?
I am leaning towards the short due to being comfortable with one finger lever action
also the Straitline levers I use on my DH MTB are very short so Im thinking I will be comfortable
with that length.
thanks
Dez
Not sure but I think MonsterDorf has shorty levers on his bike might be worth a PM.
I am loving the shorty's

And after a fortnight of commuting in Sydney traffic I can almost crack macadamias in my left hand [laugh]
To be honest, it was a bit of a workout in traffic at the start, but I'm now a fortnight in and I don't really notice, and for one/two fingers the levers feel so so right
nice looking set up there mofo [thumbsup]
Howdy Dexmonster,
Gold on a Duc looks great. IMHO :)
Gold Pazzo's are sweet.

Purchased gold shorty's this morning from fleabay guy called streetfighterau for $240 Aus only downside will tale 14 days to arrive so my guess he gets them from US and adds on his $ anyway hope it morphs my bike into ^Todka's^
Its like cracktabaco this mod stuff , must stop addicted please HELP!!
no help with that dez you are now hooked and cant go back, but i can help with more bling info
Jukie's right Dez. There is no cure.
But after a while, I think a bike becomes "finished"
I trawled forums and sites for a while to boing up the R, and think it's done now.
Xtra stuff I'll consider only if it fits in.
I almost supercharged it after I ran out of stuff to do, but decided in the end I was going silly. Maybe I will get a monster and do engine work on that. Yeah, a new project is what I need :)
Have fun and enjoy making it your own. [thumbsup]

Yeah but I think 'finished' is a relative term.
It seems there have been a few members go through a period of heightened modification to get to a certain point ... doesn't mean there is not always some little thing to be added or changed.
Also helps to have some newly afflicted members to tease occasionally ... time now for Justo's newly created thread.
i've got ASV's and I lov em
(http://www.motomummy.com/store/images/P/asvflame.jpg)
Cost same as Passos and I think they look better. Plus not many many others have em......danno the snob!
got em from motomummy (http://www.motomummy.com/store/home.php?cat=356)
The short leavers are REALLY short and the long are mid size between the pazzos' long and short. I think they're a great 3 finger fit.

Lets just say they are 3 piece and fully replaceable in case of accidental accidents by accidental hit and tip drivers.
