Post by: bryant8 on October 01, 2009, 12:15:25 PM
Anybody know of a local dealer for Baxley sport wheel chocks?  Other than AMS... that is

Motopia is on Parts Unlimited, and Randy does all the ordering.  Rene told me we get it at their cost being a member.  If they can order one, I'll get it for you and you can pay me when it comes in.  Just call Randy and see if they can order them.

T, thanks!  That would kick ass.

Could somebody PM me Randy's number again

No worries, you call and ask and if they do, I'll tell them to order it.  They have my debit card on file for that very reason.... [thumbsup]

those are great for trailers, but they aren't free standing....  Cycle gear has some nice free standing ones that are great for track days and garages.  Plus they are only $150.00  But the Baxley's are awesome

I have mine onto a piano hinge and 3/4 plywood so when I drive the Hardley it doesn't slide.  you could just bolt them to the floor though.

I have a HF version that is suitable for the garage, it does the job but is a pain in the ass to use in the back of my truck or move for a trackday.

I used the HF chocks that Dax posted up for the back of the truck, mounted on 2X16 to load 2 bikes in the bed of my Tacoma.  They worked great there, but not in the garage.  The Baxley will do double duty and whenever I get another bike I'll likely scoop another chock up for that too.

well in that case the baxley is better for the truck.  you can get adapters on fleabay to fit a slim sportbike tire for these cheapees too.

I've got a couple of Baxley Sport Chocks. I bought one from Andre before he left for Belgium and the second one I ordered directly from Baxley. Bought the trailer mounting kits but have yet to get around to mounting them on the bed of my trailer. I really like them, good stuff. [thumbsup]

so you can get one at dealer cost T?  if so, lets chat.  I'd like one for my truck bed.

Bryant,

When I bought one for my SC, I. got it local.

Kawasaki City‎
1516 W Irving Blvd, Irving, TX‎ - (972) 438-9425‎

Call ahead to make sure they have it in stock, and check on the price.  When I bought mine a couple years ago, they had several in stock.

Oh, and if you go visit them, check their hours of operation before making the trip.  I seem to recall that they close rediculously early.

[thumbsup]

I like the Condor:

A lot of trailer makers offer them as an accessory. You can buy a pit chock version and get hardware for the trailer, just like the Baxley. Options are good. To each his own.

Yeah, for the member days we paddock under the awning, but on Nov 1, I'm sure that will not be an option....
