Good afternoon. I've ridden since 2003 and have owned a Kawasaki, a Triumph and two Yamahas. But I've always been interested in Ducatis.

With a couple of young 'uns at home, I don't ride as much as I used to, but I still enjoy some nice weekend rides into the mountains, and I occasionally drum up the nerve to commute through DC traffic.

I'm thinking of getting a Monster--hence, my decision to join the forum. You'll see a post from me asking for y'all's thoughts about the 750/800 line of Monsters momentarily.

Good luck with the decision. I'm sure you'll get lots of good advice although some of it may be a bit biased. ;)

Also, you might want to check in with your local group, CAM (Capitol Area Monsters) (http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?board=20.0).
