So the last BBQ plan at Hard 8 was a no-go, HOWEVER, in looking at the extended forecast for this Sunday, October 11th, it would be a real pity to be stuck inside with a housefull of kids and only your AirSoft, fully-automatic Glock for protection.
SO... in lieu of all that, come eat some bodacious BBQ with your outlaw biker buddies....
Or maybe just your Ducati buddies instead ;D

Nice pics Dax! [thumbsup] Very nice turnout today. Wasn't quite the sunny 70+ degree day that I had hoped for but it certainly wasn't bad. At least we missed the rain and it wasn't hot! I had enough of the heat long ago now I am sick of the rain!! :P
Great collection of people and bikes and what was REALLY COOL was four of the crowd were women riders!! Not quite sure I have ever been to a DFW/DMF gathering where so many women riders attended. Two Monsters, a 999 and a Triumph 675. Pretty damn neat!! [clap] Also, good to meet atomemphis/Josh at long last. Glad Brad made it with his Motion999 in tow... very cool! [moto]

what we should do is pull into Strokers on a Sunday with the Harley folks there to show them what "fast" twins look and sound like. Trust me, it's like flies on shyat when they see the bikes.

I've never had a bad lunch at Hard8. I usually come out of there with a belly stuffed to the gills and today was no exception. Each time I go I get a little better at ordering the right amount and not overdoing it but damn I'm still full.

I remember the first time we did this a couple of years ago. I know Wiwa's b-day is the 20th and we were kinda celebrating his great birthday gift to himself... his first Monster!! [clap] As I have always said, who better to get the perfect birthday gift than the person having the birthday!!! My brother's spin on that rule is always get something for a birthday present that you can borrow and use at a latter date. Of course that sounds like something my brother would say! :P
Again, great meet up today! Had lots of fun catching up with folks. We need to expand our get together locations and do them more frequently. Like the good old days. Sorry to not have made it yesterday gang but I have had so much going on it's odd. I did however get to stop long enough to cook some ribs and enjoy the Cowboys win. Full days are getting more full but it will slow I hope soon. I'm also hoping we can all get together for anohter ride before winter will grip us.
