Hello,
I recently purchased a 2006 S2R 800 and am thrilled.
Mileage: 9,300mi
Color: Tangerine Red
Recent maintenance: New rear tire (OEM Pirelli Corsa Diablo)
Mods: Full Arrow exhaust with Power Commander, Tail chop, Integrated tail lights, Bar end mirrors.
Parts Surplus: All the stock parts, extra integrated tail light, documentation, cleaning supplies. Handlebar risers still with previous owner and will be picked up soon.
Needs attention: Chain/Sprockets (I would say less than 300 mi left. Has 2 frozen links. Sprockets don't show visible wear, but will be changed anyways). Oil change within next 500mi to be sure, although it was allegedly changed 400 mi ago.
Parts needed/interested in: Rear stand for single-sided swingarm, Chain and sprocket set. Chain rivet removal tool. CF parts/accessories.
Mods to come: Wet layup CF parts made from stock parts for heel guards, sprocket cover, chain guard, etc. if it turns out to be cheaper than plain buying. This is going to be my winter project..
I'm super excited!

welcome to the board.
make sure and check out the Northwest locals section.
welcome, bikes looking good so far ;D
Welcome, congrats on that great-looking S2R! [thumbsup]
+1 on introducing yourself in the NorthWest (http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?board=27.0) forum.
Good luck with the winter project, looking forward to seeing updates. :)
Thanks for the warm welcome, guys. I posted an intro on the NW forum. How often do the NW'ers get together for rides/drinks? My favorite place to go when I had my '77 Bonneville was Cafe Racer near the U Dist of Seattle.
Hey Chomperhater!
While I love this board for everything Monster, you might also want to check out desmonorthwest.com for local Ducati rides and meetups. The NW section on the DMF has been overrun with Oregonians... [cheeky]
They do a regular Thursday Night Bike Night where we meet up at an assortment of different spots.
I also have an S2R 800 and make it up to Everett pretty regularly during the summer... got family there...
Welcome!
