Burning AK47 - 300 Rounds & on Fire (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eNAohtjG14c#normal)
Why? That's on the same level as those videos of people reving their bikes until the motor blows up. I guess that you need a mullet to understand.
[speechless]......[/speechless]
Seen this before. Actually, kind of cool to see how far you could push the weapon if you "needed to". I will not define circumstances where one would "need to", but I would assume it involves both zombies AND robots.
Seen it before.
Not a real AK-47.
Note the lack of brass being ejected.
Some dumbass lit it on fire to make the video.
[coffee]
Natural selection is clearly grossly inefficient. I propose we artificially select against people like this.
maybe the video quality is too shitty to see the brass? But ill +1 with you on it being lit on fire before filming.
Theres nothing wrong with shooting a gun till it fails. its just torture testing it. They do that all the time with new machine guns to see when it will fail.
When I read the title, I thought someone had let Cyrus leave his house.

it's real, the brass is being ejected, it is just going really fast.. typical ak has a rof of 600 rpm, which means hypothetically 10 per second.
crappy video + up to 10 rounds per second = not gonna see it.
if it's not a real AK, what is hitting the junk pile?
That, and the muzzle flash looks a lot like my Maadi's.
Ok, now... I thought Class III AK's were pretty expensive.
I don't really see the point in torture testing about a $10K rifle. so, at bare minimum more money then brains.
if this guy modded it to FA then posted up vids on the internet.. the rifle on fire part is the least stupid thing he's done.

i think you have a very good point. any transferable full auto AK would run 8-15k.
the proof is on the state, of course, and they have to identify him first. if he posted his own account with video of him doing it, then it's a simple matter of looking in the NFA registry to see if "Joe Blow" owns a Form 4 AK. cause that sure wasn't a tac-trigger... !
hard to bump fire when the place you'd grab hold and pull forward is on fire.
also interesting element of the title:
moron-with-gun on fire
moron with gun on fire
You have to see the video to determine what is on fire.

I think I remember a comedian saying something about this. It went something along the lines of:
"People with a "D" average should not breed with other "D" average individuals." [laugh]
A pre-marital exam should be administered by the courts when people apply for their marriage license. ;D
It looked to me like he's holding that thing pretty loosely with one hand. Is it possible to fire a 7.62 X 39 mm rifle on full auto like that without it climbing? My experience with hand holding 7.62mm automatic rifles is limited to 7.62 NATO rounds and I could never hold the barrel down, even with both hands.
My wife shoots the 762x39 with no issues, was surprised by the lack of kick (compared to other rifles, such as hunting guns)
My brother's 30-06 kicks like a mule. I think I still have a bruise on my shoulder from the last time we took it to the range. I'll stick to skeet next time.
No big ass spring absorbing recoil on the 30-06, eh?
No gas diffusion in the recoil operation, eh?
Yeah, that, and old school stock design make it like getting punched by Iron Mike square in the shoulder.
Not on his rifle. He took down an 8 pointer while walking back to his hide. I couldn't imagine shooting that thing off the shoulder.

haha...
i actually thought of a VFD guy who once showed up to a wildland fire armed. he was not an LEO, so he was invited to go home.

maybe you were threatening to him.
Its a shame he wasted all that ammo on a junk pile.
