Title: Hi from Gettysburg PA Area
Post by: ducatithunder on October 22, 2009, 01:50:41 PM
I bought my first Duc the beginning of this Month.  It is a '04 620ie Dark.  Trying to get as many miles in as I can before winter hits.  Of course, Winter hasn't been too bad the last couple of years so I may just get to hit the road  a few times.

I am still a newbie and am looking to take a dirt bike class in the spring to advance my skills.  Anyone take the MFS Dirt Biking class?

Welcome, congrats on the new Duc! [beer]

Looking forward to seeing pictures of it when you get a chance.

Dirt biking is a great way to improve your riding, you'll learn a lot about dealing with different traction situations. [thumbsup]

I'm not sure which local group you'd fit into more, CAM (http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?board=20.0) (Capitol Area Monsters) or DeVal Mostro (http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?board=24.0) (they also have an alternate site (http://www.devalmostro.net)), but make sure you introduce yourself.

Thanks!

The local groups were my next step. Thanks for the info.

As far as my snowboard, the one in the picture is a Nitro Black Widow 152.  [evil] It's a couple years old but I still love it so it will always be in my stable of boards.  I am selling my Rome Vinyl 145 that I used for the last 2 years. I've got another purchase to replace it cause I can never have enough snowboards.  That trend just might follow my with Bikes too!  I have a feeling I'll be the proud owner of a dirt bike next year.  Shame Ducati doesn't make a dirt bike.

If you can't ride your bike, it's good to ride something.
