Hello everyone. I've been on here a while researching what would be the best bike for me, etc. Last week I purchased a 2007 Ducati S4R and I picked it up yesterday. I've been riding for about 24 years and I live in Forest, Va. Look forward to chatting with everyone and reading posts about my new found Ducati passion.
welcome to the board jeff.
some will tell you that the bike doesnt exist without pictures.
the rest of us just like to see pictures of bikes!
Welcome, congrats on your new S4R. [beer]
As herm mentions, we really enjoy bike pictures if you have any to share. ;D
You'll find more Virginia riders in CAM (Capitol Area Monsters) (http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?board=20.0), so you might want to introduce yourself there as well.
Have fun with your new bike! [moto]
Ok, Here are the only pics I have so far. This is when we got home with the bike yesterday. Hadn't even taken it off the trailer and the wife jumped on it for a couple of pics. [thumbsup]

Thanks. Unfortunately she says she will not be riding the Duc no matter how much I beg. We'll see, but I expect I'll be riding solo.
nice looking S4 and welcome [beer]
Thanks RVA Duc. I should have the title Wednesday, so plates on Thursday and it'll be time to ride! Too bad I have to work this whole weekend. At least I can ride it to work though since it will be nice weather.
yeah this week and weekend are gonna be nice , how far is forest va ?
I'm about 2 and 1/2 hours from Richmond. Forest is actually adjacent to Lynchburg, I expect you know where that is. The weather's looking great for riding this weekend, but I get to work all weekend. I guess in today's economy I should be glad to be working and not complain about weekend work though... [coffee]
yeah man i know where Lynchburg is, yeah all side work or a job at all is a great thing, yeah gotta ride as much as we can before the weather goes south [thumbsup]
Welcome! As noted CAM covers from Bal'mer down to the NC/VA border, or there abouts. Not a huge number of folks down you way, but as you've found, 1 or 2 are :)

Well, the question wasn't does she ride a Duc, or even that Duc, just does she ride. If so, there's a pretty good clump of female riders on the board - Somegirl's the social chair ;D. They have a section in the local boards section of the site as well.
