Looks like a nice bike.

Not that bike, but that kind. It's an Arc-Fab Ti framed rat bike made from a 1000SS.

Nate could probably tell you more...

I've seen it, but not in it's latest iteration.

I liked it better the other way.

This bike (or one like it) was at IMOC a few years back.  That frame is amazing.

Yes I have that's my friends bike. It only weighs 301 pounds Titanium frame and carbon fiber everything else. The donor bike was a 1000DS

I'm curious how this is street legal. Did Doug have a manufacturer's license with the ability to assign VIN numbers to frames?
