Title: Howdy from Cowtown . . Calgary, Alberta
Post by: desmog on November 12, 2009, 03:15:17 PM
Riding season is near done for this year, time to sit back, reflect, and think about new mods to do this winter.
Acquired a 2001 M750 last fall - low miles, no mods.
so far:
Carbon tank, hugger, front fender, side panels, seat cover and sprocket cover (not much left to replace!)
43T rear sprocket, X-Box (great sound BTW!), bar-end mirrors and risers.
K&N filter & open air-box & lots of TLC keeping it clean & tidy.
Have removed close to 50 lbs of "stuff" and replaced little (other than X-Box)
Gets LOTS of smiles, even from some of the cruiser folks around . . .
one of the few truly unique monsters in Calgary!

welcome to the board desmog! good luck on the future mods, and make sure and post some pictures to help us through the off season.

Welcome, glad you joined us.  Sounds like you've been busy! [thumbsup]

+1 on pictures, we'd love to see your bike. ;D

I've been to Calgary a few times for work but the only riding I did was on my folding bicycle.
