IIRC, on the one 650 motor I reshimmed, both the openers and closers were quite thick, certainly not in the middle of the normal range of shims for more recent Duc motors.

650 allazurra? regular 650 pantah engine so the 8mm shims would be the go.

its the first one ive ever seen here paul so will be a first for this old fossil [thumbsup]
i like em, they're a little different and the styling is nicer than the pantah. the tank is notorious for rust so give it a good look over too.
