Post by: Jester on December 05, 2009, 12:26:19 PM
43 degrees when I went out earlier today.  A bit nippy, but I say if its above 32, I'm strapping on the leathers.   [thumbsup]

Nah, too cold for me but the second half of next week looks promising weather-wise... Wednesday, for example, might be a good day for riding  ;D

I'm just sayin'   [evil]

Lisa,

Did you see AMS's video on their website about the track day w/Pegram. You were one of the stars! Don't know who shot that vid, that dude was unfamiliar.

Ha!  Very weird to see yourself on video.  Surprised my bit was used.

Oh well; when's the next track day?  [laugh]   Hell, with this weather, I'd settle for a nice trip around the block  [bang]

You the Man! Think about you every day the weather is for shit. Those 30 degree, rain slick rides to work have to be the equivalent of 20 cups of strong java! You, Wiwa and RichD got the Brass Balls Award for sure. I'm old, weak and slow. No freezing rides for me thank you. Been there, done that. :P

I would be lying to you if I said I didn't have second thoughts before gearing up.

However, with the Joe Rocket Meteor 4 jacket, balaclava, heated gloves, and long underwear (yeah, TMI  :P), I was not cold at all during the ride--actually comfy.  ;D

I also went and dug out my balaclava today.
Wool/cotton longjohns, Joe Rocket Blaster jacket, AGV leather pants, Gerbings jacket liner and gloves...
"Toasty"  [thumbsup]

With the right gear, even this time of the year, it's a nice day for a ride!

It's a rarely known feature that gay pirate costumes are self-heating.
