Well, it's a good thing it's cold and about to get nasty right now, because my SF is having surgery. The Double Dog guys needed a streetfighter for development and prototyping their exhaust, so I figured it would be an interesting experience and said yeah. Plus I know a couple of they guys and they're sponsoring Tigre, so it's all good. That said though, I'm nervous as a kitten.
I really thought that your bike was going to have something furry taped to it.
So that we've established that you're not exploring furrie-fetishes with your motorcycle, what kind of exhaust is this? Just a slip-on or a full system? I'm assuming slip on...you're as protective of that thing as a bear to her cub. [laugh]
Imagine kind of a bugle but out the rear.

[cheeky]
Should be very cool. I understand Double Dog are teh sheit right now. I'm dying to hear it.
+11ty billion. Mark and his business partner are great guys. The SF should turn out great! But please...no unicorn horns.
I didn't read the post clearly, but I say "dog", "kitten", "exhaust" and "surgery." Someone wanna explain to me WTF is going on in the Moore household?!? :o

Perhaps I jumped erroneously to my conclusion that MM *wasn't* into furries. Just a straight up beastiality? Let yer freak flag fly.
Settle down class.
Yeah, it's a slipon, but it needs a new mid-pipe to get to a 2 into 1 exhaust, and that'll require some measuring and prototyping.
This is how it looks on the superbike:

BTW, did you up the ante in terms of what they need to give ya in return for you letting them use your SF?
Not yet. If I like the thing then I'll push a bit harder on the deal.
Obviously I should have you to represent me in all negotiations. ;D
I'm not a good negotiator. I'm good at coming in once things are already FUBAR'd and then screwing them up even more.

That's the job description of a lawyer...or a salesman.
That looks like there's no typical muffler packing in it, is it just baffles?
Or just an open pipe?

Wai - WA?
You're not getting a free one? !??!?!?!
Dude, get a free DD system. Remind them that you're saving them $20k on a bike for this, plus it's all your risk if they f-up yours + you're out your ride until they're done. How many days car rental is that?
You should get a free system minimum.
PS it looks like it makes you go faster. [thumbsup]
Pack + baffles. FWIW, that picture is from an early prototype.

OK, that's reasonable.
Just a straight megaphone would be unbelievably loud. :P
The prototype had blown out almost all the packing and part of the baffling. It was ridonkulously loud. I could barely get through a session with my ridiculously high NRR earplugs.

I'm a salesman too. Consider that authoritative...
