I am looking at buying a new helmet, and it will most likely be another Arai, this time in Pearl Black. However, I am not all that excited about riding a black bike at night in a black jacket with a black helmet. I was considing doing one of two things. 1. Have custom reflective stripes put on the helmet to match the black/tang scheme of my bike. 2. Getting a retro-reflective Ducati logo to but on the back of the helmet, but if I did this I would like to have the Ducati circle-logo in reflective black.
I am sure neither of these options currently exist and would have to be custom made, so any advice on getting that done would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Keith
Some resources for you:

The 1st two sell all sorts of kits, logos, flames blah blah in a variety of colors - reflective or not.
A little hunting on ebay can find some stuff as well. It's been a couple years now, but I found a seller making black reflective stickers in a variety of patterns. I picked up a 80's ducati logo (the pipe font) for the back of my black helmet. In daylight you'd hardly know it was there - but it reflects nicely after dark.
+1 to tapeworks.com [thumbsup]
they already have pages of Ducati logos to choose from, in any size you like. They also have several reflective color vinyls to choose from as well, including black.
Thanks for all the help, looking at those options gave me some good ideas. I think what I am going to do is try to find, or have made, the Ducati Dynamic D logo in black reflective. It is available from motowheels in red, but I would prefer black. If anyone sees that let me know, otherwise I will buy some tape and have someone with a vinyl cutting plotter cut the logo for me.
o..kay.
or you could just get it from tapeworks.com [coffee]

Haha, I just saw that they will make that logo. Sorry for being so dense, and thank you for being patient!
Thanks to the fantastic advice of IndustrialGrrrl I went ahead and ordered from Tapeworks. They have a minimum order of $35 but gave me a great deal on the per sticker price, so I will have a few extras coming my way. I ordered them as 3" round "Dynamic D" logos. I got a few in reflective black, and a few in reflective red. I assume I will just give out or sell the 5 I will have left over after applying them to my helmets.

I made my own using 3M black reflective tape purchased from eBay.
Cost about $3.50 per sheet (used 1.5 sheets IIRC)
Daytime. can hardly see it.

Glows white. when light is flashed on it.

That looks fantastic, I know I wasn't the only one that wanted to do this. I am happy with the price, they were $5 each, and this way I can sell them at my cost to others that have the same idea.

I know XJBaylor already order stuff , but mdrivers photos are a great example of the effect you can expect from the black reflective. Actaully in full day light it looks even more black.
