So I must sell my beloved Ducati S4R. Link to the Monsters for Sale thread is below. Just thought I'd post here to see if I could get the word passed around. Thanks in advance- I really wish I could keep this beast of a bike... but in all honesty paying for my wedding is top priority.

Did you miss the part of tradition that says the bride's parents pay for the wedding? ;D
Never the less - good luck on selling your darling Monster, then the wedding and marriage [thumbsup]
Congrats, good luck and best wishes! [beer]

Thanks for the support ! I didn't miss that tradition, but it's ok- My fiancée and I would rather much pay for our own wedding. As much as it's going to hurt our pockets, I'm finding that it's much easier to take full responsibility and ownership of the wedding finances.
City hall is about $200.
Keep the bike.

Word (of experience).
And for gods sake, don't do the dove-release thing.

Unless you're bringing a shotgun for shock value.
Take video.
City Hall might have been a choice (or at least a smaller guest list) had I known I would run into a bump spelled I N L A W S.
But I do want to give my fiancée a wedding she deserves. Yea, I know, gushy. But hey, even if I let go of the beast, I would still have the Senna [moto]
But man, I sure am gonna miss the S4R if she sells. There's nothing else like it with the support from the board, the memories building it, the ride, and passion.
jimboecv - thanks for the tip!
MrIncredible - we'll for sure take a video! God photogs's and videographers sure do charge a lot ! I actually am into doing vids myself- check out Vimeo of a Senna clip I made not too long ago. Other vids are there- including my wonderful fiancée. NOT those kinds of vids folks!

Hmm... As much as I would love to send her to a fellow dmf'er, I gotta be fair and sell to the first reasonable/serious buyer. Maybe you can try taking out a loan and paying it when you receive your bonus ;D
My wedding's in May though, so Feb/March is actually doable. I won't be riding the S4R much more until she finds a new owner.

Bwaahahaha.
I like the way you think.
Oh and CesXY, congrats. My sweetie and I got married in a friend's back yard in Inverness. Coupla cakes from a local bakery, some booze and finger food and other than paying for a few musicians, it was pretty inexpensive. Of course that was 23 years ago, so things were cheaper. But we're still together so the size of the wedding (at least in our experience) doesn't have a lot to do with whether you stay together. Enjoy the day. Plus you can always buy another bike later.
Shouldn't this have been posted in "Done, Done, and Done"? :P

Thanks! And congrats back to you for having been married 23 years strong. I'm sure you had a fantastic and memorable wedding. We definitely look forward to our big day and our life together thereafter.

I will post in ""Done, Done, and Done" when I:
1) sell the S4R
2) get married and
3) have kids. Congratulations to you and misincredible by the way [clap]
Joy and I did city Hall seven years ago. We both thought that it was a beautiful place to get married in. We used the extra money for the limo and the Veuve Clicquot and the shin dig at Joy's sisters house. And I didn't have to sell the Super Hawk. [thumbsup]
