Welcome to the DMF! :)

I've had fun riding around Singapore (and to Malaysia and back) but it was always on a bicycle. ;D

That sounds like a great project, I hope you can post some updates and pictures from time to time. [thumbsup]

You'll probably be most interested in our Tech (http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?board=4.0) and Accessories & Mods (http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?board=5.0) forums.  Don't be shy about asking questions, we have a lot of experts around who are happy to help out.

Good luck!

Welcome you've come to the right place for when you have a question on your resto. 900s are tough so it should be pretty easy to bring back - if it isn't a runner. Be sure to take photos and log the progress. You'll have an appreciatve audience here

I found a 900ie factory tech manual on eBay. Perhaps you can find one too

Thanks for the warm welcome. Here's some work in progress; as well as showing crash damage.

Having come from a mainly BMW background, the M900 is elegantly simple.  Will take my time on this project and post pics from time to time.

Looks like you've got some work cut out.

I'd suggest if you want to keep track, and get any help creating a thread in the General Monster Forum (http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?board=1.0) - it will get a lot more traffic there.
