if they are very thin , other wise running too lean [thumbsup]
That would make me nervous. Maybe it's supposed to have air running past it to keep it cool. If it's just sitting there on stands it would have to get hotter than normal.

yep i'd say that's pretty warm there.
That dull to glowing red would be about some were between 650c and 725 degrees c. ;)

Yep surprisingly normal. Most bikes left running without airflow will get a good glow happening somewhere in the space of 5 to 15 minutes depending on tube thickness. Its not a terrible thing to have happen, but something probably best avoided where possible.
