Title: Should "Official Bikes of the DMF" be a sticky?
Post by: Case S2R on January 05, 2010, 11:24:34 AM
I am relatively new here and don't have the largest post count but, shouldn't the thread "Official Bikes of the DMF" be a sticky?

The reason I suggest is on another forum the Sport Classic section alone has over 200 pages, so I zip over here to get some ideas for Monsters and I have to go searching to find it.

This forum is great so don't think I am bashing it, just giving an idea for improvement.

Thanks

In an ideal world, mebbe. But there are already too many stickies, so no.

BTW, there is a Board Suggestions child board in the Tech Issues board.  Check it out:  http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?board=57.0 (http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?board=57.0)

No.  It works now.  If someone posts something new it pops up to the top to tell you to take a look.

I'm with Case S2R  - consolidate the Embedded Video/Passwords stickies into the "Please Read Before Posting" thread and add the "Official Bikes of the DMF" sticky.  [thumbsup]

That would be perfect.

No one would read either thread. ;)

Yeah, after you know what's in there it's one more thing to scroll past when you're looking for fresh meat. To many stickies = the blech.

Welcome though, hadn't seen ya around before.

Yes.

Two of the current stickies (Passwords and Embedded Video) should be in the "Board Tech Issues" forum.

Don't be silly now. If people read the stickies they might learn how to use the searxch function-then how will I have so much fun explaining how to post a picture, push start a bike, or if $1800 is a good price for a 600 mile service?

I'm so trying to think of a way to rewrite that whole bit, but alas, long day and my brain fails me.  :-\
