good price to ask for would be? 4400 miles, blk/silver, full Termi setup, cf heel guards, open clutch cover w/speedymoto springs etc. Bike doesn't have a scratch and has never been dropped. Considering selling it, thank you for your input!
sorry to hear that.... how will you fill the void?
I would start asking 7k, that might be a little high but you have to start high for the low-ballers...
thanks fp, that's about what I was thinking. Well, void would be filled by 'thing' on woman's hand, lol ;) and THEN, uhhh...dunno. She really liked the Guzzi California, although I dig the streetfighter. Really, I'd rather just keep this one AND have a cruiser. We'll see :D
seems reasonable
if ya'll run across someone interested, point em my way!
Per NADA - $7130 bone stock. I'd tack on 25% of the cost of the mods and start there; negotiable of course.
Hope the market is good to you. Seems brutal on sellers up north.
Just as a data point. I paid $8500 for my 06 S2R1K in October 2008 with:
6K easy miles (and service)
Marving mid-pipe
Ohlins DU321 rear shock
Carbon rear fender
Although your bike is newer, has slightly fewer miles, and has Termis I wouldn't expect to get more than $7500 with the way that things seem to be going right now. Can you restore it to stock and sell the mods? That way you could maybe get $7000 for the bike and another $500-$1000 for the mods.
Good luck, and hope that you can work it all out and keep the Monster!
damn, that's a good idea Yotogi...grrr...a guy's already emailing me with price I originally listed. $7100 :/

Congratulations - So did you pop the question yet?
Sorry to hear about the loss of the Monster though - it's a very clean bike
Hey amigo! Nope, a large part of that's coming from the sale of the bike :)

Well best of luck on the sale of the bike and if you need any help on the ring, the wife can hook you up with some good deals, plus she does custom work.
We're gonna miss seeing you on that nice Duc
