I've done a fair share of poking around to find the right pair of overpants and the more I look, the more I realize I want in a single pair.
Specifically trying to find a pair of textile overpants that have the following:
Knee and hip armor
Removable liner
Adjustable vents
Couple of extra pockets around the thigh (kind of like cargo pockets)
All of that for a price that seems reasonable.
Any one with FHE or a recommendation?
While I'm at it, any ideas for a pair of insulated gloves under $100?

They have padding (knee and hip), removable liner, pockets. I don't remember venting (I have almost exclusively worn them in the winter)
I got mine for less than $150 at an IMS in Chicago a bunch of years ago.
I've worn them in rain and through a number of Chicago winters and they are great!
However, I can't remember which model. The jacket I have that zips in to them is a Trinity, but I think the pants were some other similar looking model.

i have all season pants from scorpion XDR. theire a bit pricey at $280. but they are litterally all season. ive ridden them from 60s down to teens and in torrential rain storms. im sure they would be fine at the 80s +, but at that point, im either in my 1 piece leathers, or in jeans commuting.
I've got the Tourmaster Flex, they were in the $150 ballpark.
Removable quilted liner I've never used, the waterproof liner is also removable, it zips in,
so it's a hassle to add on the fly. Keeps you dry though.
Panels over the mesh zip off nicely to vent.
Knee & hip armour.
Itty bitty pockets for keys, earplugs and quarters.
I ordered tall even though I'm perfectly sized at 5'11", glad I did.
I find that temp control on legs isn't as vital as upper body. For cold I add a Frogg Togg rainsuit over top, much simpler.
I'm very happy with my Kevlar Air Mesh from Motoport.
I have some Fieldsheer booster pants (solid, no venting) which work well for cold weather. Also some olympia air glides in mesh for summer, those fit better (have real waist sizes), work great. They have a rain/cold liner you can sip in for all season use.
I have Aerostitch Darien overpants. They don't have all you're looking for, but they are the best pants on the market IMO. I wear them year round...rain, shine, hot, or cold.
+1 on Aerostitch. I used to own a pair (which were great) and I've since switched to one piece from them (also great)
+2 on Darien pants. Have had mine for like 5 or 6 year or sumptin' and through at least 2 crashes. They're great!

I've got the Firstgear HT overpants that I use over my khakis when I commute in to the office. They seem to work well.
