I like the Motostrano email ad copy:
"Picture, if you will, yourself in the middle of a sweaty palmed sales presentation in the conference room of your favorite low-rise office building. With your suit, tie and the Parlor boots, you convey the outward appearance of a dependable and respected member of the business community, projecting the image of your average and trustworthy 4-wheel freeway commuter, probably a BMW 5 series owner. With the help of these boots, you feel confident that whatever it is you are selling will be sold.
"Yet, deep within, you know, as you deliver your closing pitch, your inner beast is thinking only of a celebratory post-meeting ride on your Ducati through your favorite twisty backroad and out to the coast for steamy beers and fresh oysters over a long lunch, with the hot blonde taking notes at the end of the table riding on your passenger seat.
"That's the type of boot this is."
Back in the 70's we called these "Fruit Boots". Wore 'em anyway.....
And to go with the boots....

Naugahyde. Yeah, baby.
Can I get the boots in Harvest Gold?
you know, I've been looking for a tan/light brown fully armored riding jacket for a long time. Still haven't found one that fits and still looks good on or off the bike.

Take a look at the magazine Ultimate Motorcycle. They have a fashion section each month about high end Moto gear. A lot of times they present jackets that you can purchase that ride as well as they style on Friday nights.

Wow, with the retro Beatle boots and captain America open-faced helmet you really are living out your second...third...fourth childhood huh? ;D [laugh] [clap]

You might like the FirstGear Scout 2010:

The discontinued FirstGear Scout IV is a better looking jacket, IMO, but is only available in black

Black goes with anything, and is a good business color.
white t-shirt with sleeves cut off, flip-flops, sunglasses and boxers with no buttons in the front.
I LIKE TO HANG OUT WITH MY WANG OUT!!

Dainese Merlin is a great looking jacket on or off the bike. Only comes in black I think.

Not having a wang, wouldn't hitting a grasshopper at 80 mph with your pecker be unpleasant?

Not likely. AS has gotten as conservative as Gericke with their sport touring designs. When they re-released their Articulo 76 boots last year, they substituted a charcoal and grey racing stripe for the original Italian tricolor, so that the stripe would look as in the B&W photography from their 70's print ads for the original boots. Guess the fashion police told them that the tricolor was a dated look. [leo] A bad call IMO, I would have liked updated replicas much more than the merely retro look.
Personally, I think I look good in avocado. In fact, I still have some on my shirt from lunch. If it's good enough to eat, it's good enough to wear. ;D
"Parlor boots" ???... that name sounds kind of Victorian. Wonder whether AS will make a six-button double-breasted Edwardian leather suit to go with it?
You might also consider using a little Patoulie Oil with your enseble too.
Hey, now! >:( There was a perfectly good reason why people wore Patchoulie oil back in the day... :-\ Damned if I can remember what it was, though. ???
Good weather today for one of these Roadcrafter suits. Only $725.

They make them in grey and yellow, too. Cheap at half the price!
Looks good to me for moto and skiing [thumbsup]
