The ad has a Qld phone number. Wouldn't hurt to call but it seems too good to be true so prob is.
the reason why he'll provide the shipping????
there ain't going to be any phucking shipping, boys.
there used to be ones all through bikesales and ebay, super low prices, just put the money in the account. Ring up and say you want to drive down and view it!
I see heaps of this stuff.
There is a fair bit of this that occurs across all the major online sales sites. Ebay, Trading Post, Bikesales, whatever, they all suffer. Some of it is covered at www.scamwatch.com.au (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caveat_emptor), but most of this sort of stuff is caveat emptor (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caveat_emptor).
Note it's not just buying stuff, it's also selling stuff to f**kers pretending to be overseas or oceanographers* and such. If I am spending more than $100 and I can't either talk to them face to face or ring them directly I am always sus.
* god damn try spelling that drunk with no speel cheekers ;)
it all gets a bit stupid, the frickin thieving pricks have wrecked it all, I can't even buy something for $20 from an ebay idiot from sydney cause the bloke is so frickin suspicious of everyone on the planet!
