Title: Spareshack
Post by: Capo on May 30, 2008, 11:32:31 AM
Posted on the UKMOC board today

"I doubt whether many on here were aware but Stuart (Sparesgeezer) has sold Spareshack to a new owner.

You'll all no doubt be pleased to hear that the new owner will continue to feed your need for bling and loud pipes!

I had a good chat with the new owner this afternoon, Joe, and he's a really nice guy, very helpful and is also hoping to get over to meet and greet at a few meets etc (he's based in the Channel Islands)

All being well his banner add should be back shortly but in the meantime you can call him on 0870 8031014. He'll probably be along soon to say hello - spareshackltd"

and for the benefit of those in the colonies I'd suggest replacing the first '0' with '+44' which is the international dialling code for the UK. :)

+44870 8031014

Has he branched out into other Ducati models Capo or still mainly dealing in Monster parts?

I bought my monster pipes and other tidbits from Stuart.  I spoke on the phone with him a lot about that order, I gotta say he provided hands down some of the best insight and costumer service I ever had.  Farewell Stuart  :-\

I haven’t spoken to him in a while, I think he moved to the IOM.
He is still recovering from the injuries he received during a track session get off that effectively finished his competitive activities.
There is some kind of tie up with a German outfit, some parts I ordered from Stuart came direct from Germany.
I would think that the operation will become more web based given that the new owner is based in the channel islands.

Spareshack bailed my butt out when I was fitting forks to the '96 M900.  Otherwise, I'd probably still be hunting for a proper lower triple clamp.

Thanks (in hindsight) to Stewart, and I hope the new owner well (and hopefully continued excellent customer service).
