I agree. Funky mid-80s mens shorts. [puke] Reminds me of old NBA footage with the short shorts and knee high sox. Finally had some peace and quiet with the family out of the house and watched all three. Pretty cool considering that was damn near a quarter of a century ago. I love the old bump start days of GP. Did you catch how big the 500GP fields were!! Current MotoGP barely can make the required 18 bike grid. If memory serves me right the GPs would feature a lot of local riders of the hosting country. Not just any yahoo but national 500cc racers.
I had forgotten about Fast Freddie having to quit mid stream that year. I wonder if winning both the 250 and 500 championships in 1985 wore that arm out. That was a s#@t load of work. Pull in on the 250 and jump on the 500, then repeat...
Cool vids. Thanks for posting! [thumbsup]
thanks great video
remember you can save these by adding ok just before the word youtube ....ie..www.okyoutube
then you can convert and burn or just play with vlc
cool videos - makes us "youngsters" think about what gp racing was like - push starts, 2 strokes, cheap rv's. Cool to see that JB was the man back then, and still hasn't lost a step.
