Dax must have known about this... [roll]
DPS Criminal Investigation has developed the following information:
On 2/24/10, CID Gang Hurst personnel contacted SCOTT LYLES who is the president of the north Texas region of the BANDIDOS outlaw motorcycle gang. LYLES stated that the national birthday run for the BANDIDOS was being hosted by the Fort Worth Chapter of the BANDIDOS on the second weekend of March (12-14). The location of the event will be held on 19 acres at 6000 Wilbarger St, Fort Worth, Texas. Area motels, restaurants and bars can expect a large influx of BANDIDOS and their support clubs during the week leading up to the event. A block of rooms have been reserved, group rate, at the La Quinta Inn, Forest Hill, Texas under the “BANDIDO Birthday Runâ€. Also the following hotel names were provided for accommodations: Hampton Inn and Super 8, both in Forest Hill, Texas. In addition, the Best Western, Studio 6, and Quality Inn, all in Arlington, Texas. The national birthday run is a mandatory event for all BANDIDO members in the continental United States. BANDIDO membership is estimated at approximately 2,400 worldwide. Due to the violent history of the BANDIDOS, this event could have major law enforcement implications. CID Gang personnel have disseminated the information to Fort Worth Police Department and Arlington Police Department and will cooperate with all area agencies in coordinating appropriate law enforcement presence at and around the event
The Fort Worth Police Department Gang Unit will be having a planning meeting to address our response to this event. Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at 10 AM at the Gang Unit Office located at 4201 N. Main St. Suite 210. The following Agencies and Units have been invited to the meeting:

LMAO!! [laugh] [laugh]
They are camped out on S.E. Loop 820 and Wilbarger St. Scary close to where I live too. Think I'll be riding the other direction this and next week/end. :o
Gee, I work near that area.... :P
Looks like the makings of a "strange and terrible saga." Where the heck is Hunter Thompson when you need him?

He and Graham Parson are partying out in the desert somewhere in eastern California I think. [roll] [laugh]

That was in poor taste probably. [roll]
[laugh] [laugh]
So is anyone besides Muffy and me going to join in the fun and go to the party? We could all park our Ducatis together in a special place, reserved just for us. I'll volunteer to go over early and stake out an area.
Can I bring anything? Perrier? Pate? Vin blanc?
You may be joining Hunter and Graham to. [laugh] [popcorn]

Yeah, excellent idea. I've got a new t-shirt I've been meaning to wear but just haven't had the right opportunity: "Chrome don't get ya' home" (yep, you guessed it, the slogan is on a Moto Guzzi tee [bang] [laugh] ).
You guys live too dangerous a life ;D
Chrome won't get ya home,
But a Duc'll get ya...um...something that rhymes with "Duc'd".
But chrome will get you laid [thumbsup]
Hey, i's all good! The irony of that particular phrase on a Guzzi shirt is hilarious. Except maybe for Alan who ended up getting stranded three times I think it was before we finally got it all sorted. Well, mostly sorted...
Anyone seen the new Sportster? :D
I partied with some Bandidos once in Austin back in the day. Just one of my answers to: where were you in '72? Pretty much consisted of beer, wine, and other handy comestibles (it was Austin in 1972, which is now several years past the statute of limitations [leo]). I remember LMAO listening to the theme music from "The Wild Angels" soundtrack LP-- Blues' Theme by Davie Allan and the Arrows -- it seemed corny even at the time, and the Bandidos were in on the joke. Generally "A fine time was had by all" kind of mellow scene. 8)
Don't think I'd try my luck again these days, though, thankyouverymuch....Nossir... :-X
As long as...
1) you are not a Hells Angels member or Assosiate or supporter
2) not a Cop or Undercover cop...
3) Disrespect them and act foolish...
you will not have a problem... they dont just goo out and beat up people for no reason... i meet a few 1%ers and as long as you know who they are they dont mess with you...
Oh.. and Those 1%ers always party good.... and HARD [wine] [beer] [drink] [moto] ;D
The Bandidos in '72 weren't into heavy criminal activity, can't say about today. "I just read the daily news and swear by every word."
From what I have seen in the news lately, I think I would feel much safer at a Bandidos rally than I would on the streets in Greece.... :(
I hope you're staying out of trouble over there, Giannis. [beer]
Great to hear from you Giannis! [thumbsup] Hope all is well @ home. [drink] some Uzo for me! Oh Pah! [clap] [laugh]
Well then, that settled, who's in for going by and partying with the Bandidos? BYOB? [thumbsup] [moto] CJ I still have your Peppered-Bacon-Jalapeno Vodka if you'd like me to bring it? [laugh]
